Express Entry is a Canadian immigration system designed to streamline the process for skilled workers seeking permanent residency. The Express Entry system manages applications for permanent residency in Canada through three main categories:

Québec, Canada’s largest province by area, is known for its French-speaking culture, vibrant cities like Montréal and Québec City, and diverse economy. Québec offers several immigration programs, including:

• Québec Skilled Worker Program (QSWP)
• Québec Experience Program (PEQ)
• Entrepreneur Program
• Investor Program

These programs provide pathways for skilled workers, entrepreneurs, investors, and graduates to immigrate to Québec and contribute to its economy and society.

AIPP is a partnership between the federal government of Canada and the Atlantic provinces: Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador.

 The program aims to address labour market needs and encourage skilled immigrants to settle in Atlantic Canada. Under the AIPP, there are three streams:

1. Atlantic High-Skilled Program:

 Targets skilled workers with a job offer in a high-skilled occupation (National Occupational Classification skill level 0, A, or B) from an employer in one of the participating Atlantic provinces.

2. Atlantic Intermediate-Skilled Program:

 Intended for individuals with a job offer in an intermediate-skilled occupation (National Occupational Classification skill level C) from an employer in one of the participating Atlantic provinces.

3. Atlantic International Graduate Program: 

Designed for international graduates from eligible post-secondary institutions in the Atlantic region who have a job offer from an employer in one of the participating Atlantic provinces.

The AIPP facilitates the immigration process for skilled workers and international graduates, making it easier for them to obtain permanent residency in Atlantic Canada and contribute to the region’s economy and communities.

RNIP is a community-driven immigration program designed to attract skilled workers to rural and northern communities in Canada. Under this pilot program, participating communities collaborate with local employers and governments to select and nominate eligible candidates for permanent residency.

Here’s how the RNIP generally works:

1. Community Participation: 

Rural and northern communities across Canada participate in the RNIP by becoming designated by the federal government. These communities identify local labour market needs and nominate candidates who meet their specific criteria for permanent residency.

2. Job Offer Requirement: 

To be eligible for the RNIP, candidates must have a genuine job offer from an employer in a participating community. The job offer must meet certain criteria set by the community, such as being full-time and permanent.

3. Community Endorsement: 

Once a candidate receives a job offer from an employer in a participating community, they apply for endorsement from that community. The community reviews the candidate’s application and job offer to determine if they meet the community’s eligibility requirements.

4. Federal Application: 

After receiving community endorsement, the candidate applies for permanent residency to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). If approved, they become permanent residents of Canada and commit to living and working in the designated community.

The RNIP aims to address labour shortages in rural and northern communities while supporting economic development and community growth. It provides an opportunity for skilled workers and their families to settle in smaller communities across Canada and contribute to their long-term prosperity.

The Agri-Food Immigration Pilot is a Canadian immigration program aims to address the ongoing labour shortages in the Canadian agri-food sector by providing a pathway for skilled workers to obtain permanent residency in Canada and contribute to the growth and sustainability of the sector.

The pilot targets specific occupations within the agri-food sector, including farm supervisors and specialised livestock workers, general farm workers, food processing labourers, and harvesting labourers. 

The Agri-Food Immigration Pilot was a temporary immigration program launched as a pilot initiative to run for three years, starting from May 2020. It is extended until May 14, 2025.
